SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
Here is a snapshot of some of the projects and initiatives we are currently involved in, as well as the work we aspire to continue and grow.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to making a meaningful and lasting impact within our communities.
As we look ahead, we remain focused on building sustainable solutions, expanding our reach, and empowering more people to lead healthier, more secure, and more dignified lives.
VISITOR CHAIRS
Chairs – patient, visitor, specialist and bariatric – have been a staple of our donation to GRI, aiding the comfort of patients and their visitors.
WAITING ROOM TELEVISIONS
Televisions can help the boredom of waiting for an appointment or help pass the hours of being an inpatient. They are very popular with patients.
CLOTHING
The Clothing Room remains our core activity. It supplies an outfit of clothing for those patients in need and can help a speedy discharge.
Meaningful activity boxes
We have funded 30 meaningful activity boxes for use with patients with dementia, these include, jigsaw puzzles, memory games, playing cards and dominos.
Elderly Care – Afternoon Tea
We funded an afternoon tea for patients of elderly care, to celebrate the late Queen’s platinum jubilee.
SUPPORTING PATIENTS IN THE GLASGOW ROYAL INFIRMARY
Our work spans a diverse range of projects that reflect our core values of compassion, equity, and collaboration. From providing practical support and advocacy for vulnerable individuals to developing innovative community programs and fostering partnerships across sectors, we are dedicated to driving positive change.
